Time Lapse Video

This is hands down the best time lapse video we've seen! Check it out here! It is by photographer Randy Halverson and it is months of work compiled into a short video that is awe inspiring. There is everything from star trails, shooting stars, and northern lights. The music that goes with it is amazing as well which is by a well know composer, Bear McCreary. Canon 5D Mark III UPDATE Announcement

We previously wrote that the announcement for the 5D Mark III would be set for Monday/Tuesday Feb 28th but it now looks to be for Friday March 2nd according to CanonRumors.com. The specs may be surprising as the megapixels only jump from 21 to 22. The autofocus gets a makeover closer to its older sibling the 1DX with a 61pt system. The item that we're excited about is the dual card slot: one compact flash and one SD. Also, we should see a major reduction in noise levels that will be on par with the newly announced Canon 1DX. As with anything, time will tell for sure.

WPPI 2012

We had a great time at WPPI 2012 this year! It was so exciting getting to hear all the speakers, new tips and tricks to try with our weddings and portraits, and all the latest in technology and gear. We hope to employ all of this new training and equipment so that we can make the experience we have with our clients that much better. Here's to a great kickoff to the new wedding season!

Canon Releases new lenses

See the new releases from Canon here. The most exciting of the releases for us is the new updated version of the 24-70mm f/2.8 L series lens. It has a smaller body, more durability, and better overall lens quality. Should be exciting to use!
